Kay is a sweet dog! Her foster mom has started calling her Honey, however, because she hid in corners so much at first that her foster mom found herself saying Oh honey! every time she tracked her down. Honey is very nervous around new people and often spins when she gets excited. We knew that she had come from a crowded breeding situation, but both of those behaviors are signs that she has also spent a large portion of her life confined. Her foster moms quiet house may actually have not be the best thing for her, because what she really needs is to be around people so that she learns humans are actually pretty ok. Honey doesnt react to cats, loves other dogs, and is completely house trained. She has started bonding with her foster mom and will even come up and ask to be petted! She is still wary around new people. Honey is spayed and fully vaccinated. She needs a home that will be patient with her nervousness and show her that life outside of a box is amazing!
